Class Covenant

This is a safe environment to ask questions, share doubts, and be REAL. Doing this acknowledges that we are NOT God, and there is ALWAYS more for us to know.
Respect and receive what others offer, even if you disagree.
Avoid cross-talking, interrupting, speaking for others, or trying to "fix" another person's problems.
Do not be afraid of silence. Use it to listen to the Spirit in our midst.
What people think or believe one week may change. Give group members this freedom.
Maintain confidentiality, What is shared in the group stays in the group.
Honor the different ways God works in individuals.
Recognize that all group members have permission to share only what and when they are ready to share.
Realize we are all God's Beloved, and we are all in this together.

Prayer Concerns - February 1st, 2011

Hi everyone,

Please remember the following in your prayers this week:

Chad's second cousin (in Tampa) - wife murdered their two children
Ruiz family - God's provisions and our participation and help
Dusty and Christy - OB appointment this Wednesday
Joel Hayes (and it was so sweet I will quote him) - "I want to thank everyone for their prayers after I went through the job interview process. I didn't get this job but I know God has a plan and I will get closer to home someday". Yes you will!
Kathryn Foskey - poor kidney function which is a result of radiation
Bear (nephew of Lancaster's) - hearing test is today. Pray he can sleep for 3 straight hours so the test will be valid.

I thank God for this wonderful group of praying friends!
